General Information:

Filtering used during the audio conversion process involves several types to clean as much background noise as possible, but there is no guarantee all of the noise will be removed.  The filtering included, but not necessarily limited to, is for initial noise, click/pop, hiss, and hum. The results will depend on the condition of the audio on the media being converted.  Volume levels can be raised or lowered and tonal quality can be adjusted (addition of Bass or Treble) at a small additional charge.  Every effort is made to get the best sound possible.  Occasionally, some of the original background sound is desirable and may be requested by the client.

Audio format is in MP3 on the converted CD and allows up to 80 minutes.  90 or 120 minute cassettes will be divided between 2 CD’s and reel-to-reel tape will be divided up as necessary or requested by the client.  Each CD is custom labeled.  If converted from a record, we try to simulate the record cover image with color and font for the title and artist or album image.  If converted from a cassette or reel-to-reel tape, we will try and accommodate the client with text or image they provide.  Special handling instructions may accompany the CD.

Time for Conversion Work: The time it generally takes to perform a conversion, since each item is done in real (actual) time, is about 1.5 to 2 times the actual time of the original item. ie: a 60 minute cassette will take about 90 to 120 minutes.  This includes the recording of the work, multi-level filtering, separation into tracks (if applicable), burning, and labeling.  Custom labeling is applied to each item.

Package records, tapes, photos, cartridges, slides and negatives very carefully.  Use any of the reputable shippers available.  You must notify us prior to shipping your order by phone or email to indicating your needs. We will reply as quickly as possible.  Once you have received our reply, you may ship the media along with your personal check or money order to the address below.  Make check or money order payable to 'Nicol-Brand Concepts, LLC'.

Other Items to Note:

If sufficient time permits and arrangements made prior to the work being done, clients may bring work to the address below and wait for completion.  See "Time for Conversion Work" above.  All conversion is in "real-time" and each item is individually handled.  There are 2 Malls (The Grove and Wiregrass) in the area, where clients may choose to visit while waiting.  We can not guarantee the above will be possible, but we will attempt to make ourselves available to accommodate the needs of the client.

The finished CD or DVD is sent in a thin-jeweled plastic case but can be sent in a paper envelope if requested.  We do not convert or copy copyrighted artistic work on CD or DVD.  Nicol-Brand Concepts, LLC stands behind the work provided.  We will maintain your audio and photo conversions in our files for a period of time in the event you desire additional copies, or replacements are needed.

If the audio CD is to be played in an automobile player, the vehicle must be brought to the address below for the purpose of testing to assure it's compatibility.  If we are unable to test the completed CD in the vehicle, we will not be responsible for compatibility issues.  The reason for this request is that earlier models of automobile CD players were very restrictive as to the thickness of the CD's they accepted, even to one or two thousandth of an inch variation.  The CD we generally use can be up to 2 thousands thicker because of their capacity to resist label damage due to moisture.  We also have thinner CD's available but care must be taken as to moisture damage to the label.

You must email or call prior to shipping to arrange for your package to be properly received.  We will not be held responsible for packages shipped without authorization.
